The winner of the 2022 Sheffield & District CAMRA Pub of the Year Award and 2023 & 2025 Sheffield & District CAMRA Pub of the Year Sheffield West, The Rising Sun is a community pub and dining room based in the leafy Sheffield suburb of Fulwood. We have been operated by Abbeydale Brewery (SIBA Business Awards Employer of the Year 2025) since 2005, and always feature a wide range of their beers on our bar as well as a number of rotating guest specials across both cask and keg. In addition, we have an ever-changing cider selection, a carefully curated wine list, a large range of quality spirits and plenty of non-alcoholic options too. We became employee owned in 2024.

Our large beer garden is perfect for drinks in the sunshine – with covered, heated areas for rainier days too! The pub is also both child friendly and dog friendly.

We have a creative, seasonal food menu that showcases the best of British produce and sees us working with a whole host of local suppliers. Online reservations are recommended for those who wish to dine with us and our menu can be viewed here.
