If your party consists of more than 9 people, we will require a pre-order which will be emailed out to you.

If you are bringing a canine companion with you, please let us know in the booking notes so we can seat you at an appropriate table. Food is served throughout the building and dogs are welcomed (and encouraged) throughout the pub and conservatory but we keep the Dining Room dog free for our guests who are less comfortable with dogs.

We get extremely busy on Sunday's, for our ever popular roasts, so we strongly advise booking in advance for these as we cannot guarantee tables will be available for walk-ins. Roast dinners are available on a first come first served basis, so the earlier you dine the more chance there is of us having a full compliment of roast options to offer you (other menu dishes are available).

Christmas Bookings

We are taking Christmas bookings! 

Our Christmas/Winter menu launches on 28th November and is full of festive delights and winter warmers, especially suitable for those of you who prefer a more relaxed Christmas dining experience without the tie of a set menu. Tables can book in through our website, by emailing [email protected] or by calling 0114 230 3855 and speaking to a member of staff.

Special Occasions

We are pleased to be able to offer our bespoke buffet menus again. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements with our team of Chefs, who can tailor a menu to suit your tastes, dietary requirements and budget. Speak to us about upcoming celebrations including birthdays, anniversaries and leaving & retirement parties. We also have a long history of catering for wakes, and can make our beautiful Dining Room available for private hire for these (room hire for this is free when we are providing catering).
